Dida Drioueche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 played minutes Hammonton got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Laurent Chebal. Mehdi Rimitti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Mesbah, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Ben Benflis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hocine Boutella was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Abdelaziz Méniri struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mehdi Rimitti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fort Collins FC. 25 minutes into the match, Hammonton's goalkeeper Mehdi Rimitti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdelaziz Méniri. Hammonton's Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmond Mesbah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Rimitti having to interfere. Guillaume Laurent Chebal hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hammonton's zone, Dida Drioueche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehdi Rimitti came out of the goal and Dida Drioueche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th match minute, Fort Collins FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Nabil to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fort Collins FC booed when Hammonton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Ahmed Boniche didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Abdelmalek Kensi fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammonton's protests and gave Abdelmalek Kensi a yellow card for diving instead. Abdelmalek Kensi hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Edmond Mesbah notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hammonton's Mehdi Rimitti. Mehdi Rimitti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehdi Rimitti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmond Mesbah in the 73rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelaziz Méniri in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehdi Rimitti saved Hammonton from getting behind. Abdelaziz Méniri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ben Benflis came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Hammonton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Benflis couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Edmond Mesbah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fort Collins FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmond Mesbah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehdi Rimitti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmond Mesbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mehdi Rimitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelaziz Méniri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hammonton's zone, Edmond Mesbah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehdi Rimitti came out of the goal and Edmond Mesbah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Abdelaziz Méniri sped through Hammonton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mehdi Rimitti. There was no doubt that Fort Collins FC were the better team. Fort Collins FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
