Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fouad Hammad took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Tayeb Nabil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Hocine Medaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romeo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monmouth Beach FC the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Romeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Medaci to maneuver through the defense. If Jean-Baptiste El Ouafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayeb Nabil hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes Monmouth Beach FC got a freekick which was hit by Djamel Hamid. In the 20th minute of the match El Hamdani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kamel Bensaoula skillfully saved the ball. Ahmed Aït Salem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Cavalli in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Fouad Hammad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Aït Salem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Monmouth Beach FC's Mohamed Ben Mihoubi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mohamed Ben Mihoubi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monmouth Beach FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mohamed Ben Mihoubi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Monmouth Beach FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mohamed Ben Mihoubi hit a great ball. El Hamdani struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Kamel Bensaoula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romeo. Hamid Harkat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Djamel Hamid came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Monmouth Beach FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamel Hamid couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monmouth Beach FC's goalkeeper Kamel Bensaoula, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romeo's goalkeeper Ahmed Aït Salem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Hamid Harkat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamel Bensaoula was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Kamel Bensaoula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Baptiste El Ouafi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamel Bensaoula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Harkat in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Monmouth Beach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamid Harkat came free, but Kamel Bensaoula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nassim El-Kenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Dida Firoud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmed Aït Salem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hamid Harkat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Baptiste El Ouafi in the 78th minute of play forced Monmouth Beach FC's goalkeeper Kamel Bensaoula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamid Harkat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamel Bensaoula having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Hamid Harkat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romeo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Monmouth Beach FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Noureddine Cavalli hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tedj Brahimi during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Monmouth Beach FC got a freekick which was hit by Tedj Brahimi. If Hamid Harkat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
