Youssef Benhamou kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Yazid Gourion put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abdelhamid Merzekane. A hard shot 10 in the game by Abdel Karim Kerbouche from a close distance when the talented Abdelhamid Merzekane managed to make a qualified save. Point Dume AFC's players were relieved. Karim Brahmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakim Ibrir, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Bandon getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Yazid Gourion hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Point Dume AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mustapha Sadi. Bandon's Abdel Karim Kerbouche got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelhamid Merzekane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazid Gourion in the 33rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Guillaume Laurent Belmadi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abdelhamid Merzekane quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Abdel Karim Kerbouche came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Bandon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdel Karim Kerbouche couldn't finish the play. Youssef Benhamou's late challenge caught a Bandon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Youssef Benhamou helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hakim Ibrir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yazid Gourion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Yazid Gourion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelhamid Merzekane. Point Dume AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yazid Gourion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hocine Mhenni succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 64th playminute. Hocine Mhenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Point Dume AFC's Abdelhamid Merzekane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Karim Kerbouche in the 71st minute of play. After 71 minutes, Smail Baroudi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Point Dume AFC and the Bandon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdelhamid Merzekane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazid Gourion in the 73rd minute of play. Point Dume AFC's Abdelhamid Merzekane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Tlemcani in the 75th minute of play. Hakim Ibrir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Brahmi having to interfere. Hakim Ibrir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Brahmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakim Ibrir in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Hakim Ibrir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Point Dume AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandon the free kick. Hakim Ibrir hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bandon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yazid Gourion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bandon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Point Dume AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
