Blakely FC's Yacine Benyamina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamel Yacef in the 27th minute of play. Djamel Yacef blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yacine Benyamina having to make a save. Abdelhamid Meniri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelmalek Fari having to interfere. If Abd al-Asis Kouici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Blakely FC's Yacine Benyamina got control of the ball when Abd al-Asis Kouici tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Karim Heddou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelmalek Fari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djamel Yacef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yacine Benyamina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abd al-Asis Kouici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Djamel Yacef's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yacine Benyamina was relentless in the 81st minute of the game.
