Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mahmoud Nekkar kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Gilmer FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Karim Schoonmaker hit a great ball. Gages Lake AFC's Amrani Maillot shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Billel Badis but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Gages Lake AFC's zone, Karim Schoonmaker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nasreddine Tlemcani came out of the goal and Karim Schoonmaker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Billel Badis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Firoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gilmer FC's goalkeeper Billel Badis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karim Schoonmaker during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Gilmer FC got a freekick which was hit by Karim Schoonmaker. Billel Badis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Firoud in the 25th minute of the match. When Gilmer FC's Mahmoud Nekkar in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gages Lake AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gilmer FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ali Firoud 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Gages Lake AFC's Nasreddine Tlemcani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medjadi Lacen in the 35th minute of play. Mahmoud Nekkar took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nasreddine Tlemcani. Nasreddine Tlemcani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rachid Belloumi during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes Gilmer FC got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Belloumi. Ali Firoud struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Billel Badis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gages Lake AFC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Firoud to make the kick off. The supporters of Gilmer FC booed when Gages Lake AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamid Toumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Gilmer FC got a corner. Gages Lake AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abdelhani Moll ran over to the corner to take the kick. During the 66th minute of the match Karim Schoonmaker completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karim Schoonmaker a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a defensive mix-up in Gilmer FC's zone, Ali Firoud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billel Badis came out of the goal and Ali Firoud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Gages Lake AFC's goalkeeper Nasreddine Tlemcani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Medjadi Lacen. Amine Benmabrouk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Billel Badis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Gages Lake AFC's Amine Benmabrouk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billel Badis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Medjadi Lacen might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nasreddine Tlemcani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Medjadi Lacen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th match minute, Gilmer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tedj Kraouche to maneuver through the defense. Rachid Belloumi kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ali Firoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Billel Badis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Medjadi Lacen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gilmer FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
