The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tedj Zerara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Amine Karim Belkassem made a huge save. Alain Bey charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alain Bey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Stony Brook FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Bey to maneuver through the defense. Amar Zakaria kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Abdelaziz Aggoune had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Stony Brook FC's Abdelaziz Aggoune sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amine Karim Belkassem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amine Karim Belkassem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelaziz Aggoune, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Tedj Zerara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amine Karim Belkassem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 35 minutes, Rafik Zoheir Cherrad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elizabethtown and the Stony Brook FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Rafik Zoheir Cherrad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stony Brook FC's Abdelaziz Aggoune in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elizabethtown's goalie prevented a goal. When Rabah Soltani fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elizabethtown's protests and gave Rabah Soltani a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Elizabethtown got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Soltani. In the 40th minute Abdelaziz Aggoune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amine Karim Belkassem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Chadli Ouadah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elizabethtown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stony Brook FC the free kick. In the 44th minute, Chadli Ouadah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stony Brook FC's Mimoun Laura Douibi got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelaziz Aggoune to make the kick off. Abdelaziz Aggoune took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amine Karim Belkassem. Amine Karim Belkassem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedj Zerara in the 64th minute of play forced Elizabethtown's goalkeeper Amine Karim Belkassem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Tedj Zerara made a precise shot to the right of Amine Karim Belkassem. Elizabethtown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ahmed Hamid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelaziz Aggoune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amine Karim Belkassem having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Stony Brook FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hameur Bouazza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Elizabethtown getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rachid Ibrir hit a great ball. Amine Karim Belkassem came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stony Brook FC's Abdelaziz Aggoune. But to his dismay, Abdelaziz Aggoune quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 86 minutes into the match, Elizabethtown's Ahmed Hamid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tedj Merbah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rabah Soltani got free with Tedj Merbah in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Rabah Soltani made a precise shot to the right of Tedj Merbah. Stony Brook FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Tedj Zerara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amine Karim Belkassem having to make a save. In the 99th minute, Ahmed Hamid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elizabethtown's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
