Hamid Said charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamid Said the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Hamid Said hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Safy Chadl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salah Cixous saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nouredine Brahimi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Mohamed Ramdane came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Colchester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Ramdane couldn't finish the play. Anther Cixous fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Cixous having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Conyers AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mansour Saadane. Mansour Saadane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colchester's Abdelaziz Aboulker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Bouguerra in the 26th minute of play. Mansour Saadane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Abdelaziz Aboulker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Colchester got a freekick which was hit by Fadhil El-Hadi. Karim Bouguerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelaziz Aboulker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When Colchester's Anther Cixous in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conyers AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Colchester's Safy Chadl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salah Cixous narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Safy Chadl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Salah Cixous tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Safy Chadl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Salah Cixous made a huge save. Safy Chadl struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Salah Cixous didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colchester. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colchester's goalkeeper Abdelaziz Aboulker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colchester's Abdelaziz Aboulker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Bouguerra in the 74th minute of play. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Colchester booed when Conyers AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Bouguerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes, Rachid Massi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conyers AFC and the Colchester players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Colchester players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
