Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hamid Bouteflika got the match started through his kick off. Mustapha Iles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Bouteflika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelaziz Rahouli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustapha Iles having to interfere. Mustapha Iles didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Grand Island AFC's zone, Kamel Mansouri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Michel Abdenouz came out of the goal and Kamel Mansouri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Yacine Fahima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Old Bridge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yacine Fahima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kamel Mansouri took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Michel Abdenouz. Jean-Michel Abdenouz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With his leg Mustapha Iles managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Grand Island AFC's Benamar Fillali fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Old Bridge FC's goalkeeper Mustapha Iles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benamar Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mustapha Iles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Old Bridge FC's Mustapha Iles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Old Bridge FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benamar Fillali got free with Mustapha Iles in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Old Bridge FC's goalkeeper Mustapha Iles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benamar Fillali. Mustapha Iles made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Benamar Fillali sent off a good shot on target. Zoheir Chedda hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Benamar Fillali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamid Bouteflika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Benamar Fillali fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mustapha Iles, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, Grand Island AFC's Mustapha Iles threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hamid Bouteflika, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benamar Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mustapha Iles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The supporters of Old Bridge FC booed when Grand Island AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djamel Lacen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grand Island AFC's Jean-Michel Abdenouz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamel Mansouri in the 55th minute of play. Hamid Bouteflika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mustapha Iles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benamar Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mustapha Iles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Kamel Mansouri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustapha Iles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benamar Fillali in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Benamar Fillali cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mustapha Iles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Djebar during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Old Bridge FC's zone, Hamid Bouteflika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustapha Iles came out of the goal and Hamid Bouteflika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benamar Fillali in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustapha Iles saved Old Bridge FC from getting behind. Benamar Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mustapha Iles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benamar Fillali came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Grand Island AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benamar Fillali couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute, Hamid Bouteflika made a precise shot to the right of Mustapha Iles. Old Bridge FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Old Bridge FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grand Island AFC.
