Sid Achiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nasserredine Al-Jazairia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sid Achiou having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Gravel Ridge's goal looked a bit too open when Nasserredine Al-Jazairia came free, but Sid Achiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Faouzi Bensaoula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abd al-Asis Khendu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustapha Mohand, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Ferhat Benflis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Bouteflika kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Mustapha Mohand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abd al-Asis Khendu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abd al-Asis Khendu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakim Boniche in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferhat Benflis was the one to do the kick off. If Jussef Souakri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 55 played minutes Chetek AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fodil Djamel. Ferhat Benflis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Hakim Boniche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gravel Ridge's Sid Achiou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Gravel Ridge from getting a goal against them. Chetek AFC's Abd al-Asis Khendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustapha Mohand in the 73rd minute of play. Jussef Souakri's late challenge caught a Chetek AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jussef Souakri helped the player get up and apologised. Ferhat Benflis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sid Achiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jussef Souakri hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Mustapha Mohand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gravel Ridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustapha Mohand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Chetek AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mustapha Mohand came free, but Abd al-Asis Khendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustapha Mohand took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abd al-Asis Khendu. Abd al-Asis Khendu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nasserredine Al-Jazairia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
