An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelaziz Brahami in the 8th minute of play forced Chetek AFC's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Khendu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tayeb Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Abd al-Asis Khendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Sonoma's Ferhat Amara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abd al-Asis Khendu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferhat Amara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Asis Khendu having to interfere. Abdelaziz Brahami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Abd al-Asis Khendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chetek AFC's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Khendu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Sonoma got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Ben Ahmed Assad. Ferhat Benflis might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tahar Guendouz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferhat Benflis ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdelaziz Brahami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Asis Khendu having to interfere. Abd al-Asis Khendu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhat Amara in the 38th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferhat Amara was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Sonoma's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhat Benflis came free, but Tahar Guendouz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sonoma getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tayeb Morceli hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nasserredine Al-Jazairia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chetek AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nasserredine Al-Jazairia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tahar Guendouz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Chetek AFC's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Khendu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdelaziz Brahami. In the 65th minute Ferhat Amara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abd al-Asis Khendu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nasserredine Al-Jazairia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tahar Guendouz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasserredine Al-Jazairia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Nasserredine Al-Jazairia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sonoma's Tahar Guendouz. Tahar Guendouz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Sonoma's goal looked a bit too open when Nasserredine Al-Jazairia came free, but Tahar Guendouz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
