Yahia Ahmed hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Zoheir Belhadj struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Chadli Teissier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brownsville FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoheir Belhadj in the 23rd minute of play forced Patterson AFC's goalkeeper Chadli Teissier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chadli Teissier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoheir Belhadj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zoheir Belhadj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zoheir Belhadj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chadli Teissier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoheir Belhadj in the 37th minute of play forced Patterson AFC's goalkeeper Chadli Teissier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Brownsville FC booed when Patterson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Assia Firoud didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes in the game, Zoheir Belhadj dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Halim Ramdane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chadli Teissier came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brownsville FC's Halim Ramdane. But to his dismay, Halim Ramdane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Chadli Teissier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Liegeon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zoheir Belhadj made the kick off in the second half. Jussef Boulmerka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hocine Guendouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoheir Belhadj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Jussef Boulmerka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hocine Guendouz was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Brownsville FC's Zoheir Belhadj got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 minutes, Assia Firoud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patterson AFC and the Brownsville FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Patterson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Assia Firoud to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Nadir Saïd-Guerni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chadli Teissier skillfully saved the ball. Halim Ramdane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Chadli Teissier made a huge save. Jussef Boulmerka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Guendouz having to interfere. Jussef Boulmerka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Halim Ramdane who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Chadli Teissier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Jussef Boulmerka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Guendouz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Halim Ramdane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brownsville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Halim Ramdane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chadli Teissier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brownsville FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Patterson AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
