Abdelaziz Kermali dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Noureddine Kerbouche was a little too slow when Abdelaziz Kermali got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience was convinced that Lounès Boulmerka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noureddine Kerbouche was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44thth minute of the game Abdelaziz Kermali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greenwich's Noureddine Kerbouche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nadir Baroudi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halim Mazzid in the 58th minute of play forced Indio's goalkeeper Abdel Benhamou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Indio's Abdelaziz Kermali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noureddine Kerbouche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Noureddine Kerbouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jussef Sad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greenwich's Noureddine Kerbouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelaziz Kermali in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Greenwich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Piaf to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jussef Sad in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noureddine Kerbouche saved Greenwich from getting behind. 76 minutes into the game, Greenwich's Rachid Zidane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdel Benhamou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Nadir Baroudi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greenwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Nadir Baroudi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Benhamou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jussef Sad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jussef Sad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Kerbouche having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Indio's goalkeeper Abdel Benhamou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jussef Sad came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Indio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jussef Sad couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelaziz Kermali in the 92nd minute of play forced Greenwich's goalkeeper Noureddine Kerbouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Indio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
