Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nadir Baroudi kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Nadir Baroudi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Bruel. The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Yorkville's goal looked a bit too open when Nadir Baroudi came free, but Ali Bruel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelhani Benhamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Kerbouche having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Menguellet in the 22nd minute of play forced Greenwich's goalkeeper Noureddine Kerbouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelhani Benhamou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noureddine Kerbouche having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nadir Baroudi in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Bruel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rachid Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ali Bruel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamid Sakhri charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamid Sakhri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Yorkville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Sakhri to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Yorkville got a freekick which was hit by Karim Mecherara. Mansour Merbah was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Zidane got free with Ali Bruel in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Abdelhani Benhamou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noureddine Kerbouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yazid Menguellet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Hamid Sakhri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yorkville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Sakhri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Greenwich's Noureddine Kerbouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelhani Benhamou in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Yorkville getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hamid Sakhri hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Greenwich's Mansour Merbah broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Rachid Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greenwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Rachid Zidane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Bruel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelhani Benhamou was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Nadir Baroudi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ali Bruel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 3-0 became the score in the 64th minute when Nadir Baroudi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Rachid Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelhani Benhamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Kerbouche having to interfere. When Smail Piaf fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Greenwich's protests and gave Smail Piaf a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Greenwich got a freekick which was hit by Smail Piaf. Nadir Baroudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ali Bruel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rachid Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nadir Baroudi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ali Bruel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenwich. 92 minutes into the match, Yorkville's goal looked a bit too open when Nadir Baroudi came free, but Ali Bruel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Smail Piaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Greenwich fully deserved thier win.
