Djamel Zafour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Union Sportif Saint Marie's Djamel Zafour, in the 39th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Union Sportif Saint Marie. Ahmed Benida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Kouici having to interfere. Ahmed Benida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismaïl Zidane to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Union Sportif Saint Marie's zone, Hocine Ziani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Megharia came out of the goal and Hocine Ziani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cambria's Hocine Ziani got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cambria's zone, Ahmed Benida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Kouici came out of the goal and Ahmed Benida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Djamel Zafour got free with Mohamed Kouici in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Ali Mezair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Ismaïl Zidane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Megharia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hocine Ziani kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Djamel Zafour sped through Cambria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mohamed Kouici. When Ahmed Benida came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Union Sportif Saint Marie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Benida couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Benida received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mohamed Kouici came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmed Benida slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 90th minute. In the 98th minute, Ismaïl Zidane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Union Sportif Saint Marie's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
