Hamid Kafi's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Bouzid Besseghir on his right side and into the goal. 6 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Nasreddine Nabil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Djaout having to interfere. Noureddine Djaout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkader Kensi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Nasreddine Nabil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Abdelkader Kensi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haledon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelkader Kensi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malabar's Cheb Temmam got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Cheb Temmam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malabar's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheb Temmam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bouzid Besseghir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
