Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nordine Kaci Said started the match with the kick off. Kamel Zidane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nordine Kaci Said, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When Wake Forest's Mansour Schoonmaker in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cheb Hamid Brahima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mansour Schoonmaker took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cheb Hamid Brahima. Cheb Hamid Brahima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Wake Forest's Mansour Schoonmaker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cheb Hamid Brahima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kamel Zidane made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Chadli Soltani sent off a good shot on target. Salim Mouzaoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cheb Hamid Brahima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Wake Forest's Mansour Schoonmaker took a good shot, in the 27th minute, which hit the crossbar above Cheb Hamid Brahima's head, and flew over the goal. Riverland AFC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Wake Forest. Cheb Hamid Brahima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hameur Rimitti, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Riverland AFC's Karim Guendouz got a free kick in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Riverland AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Mouzaoui came free, but Cheb Hamid Brahima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheb Hamid Brahima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salim Mouzaoui in the 43rd minute of play. Cheb Hamid Brahima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mansour Schoonmaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salim Mouzaoui made a kick off. Wake Forest's Mansour Schoonmaker suffered a concussion in the 51st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Menad Mamouni fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riverland AFC's protests and gave Menad Mamouni a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Mustapha Bougherra from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Cheb Hamid Brahima's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Chadli Soltani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Salim Mouzaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wake Forest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salim Mouzaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nordine Kaci Said received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kamel Zidane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamel Zidane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chadli Soltani in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wake Forest's goalkeeper Kamel Zidane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nordine Kaci Said might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kamel Zidane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nordine Kaci Said ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 played minutes Wake Forest got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Laurent Belhagj. If Chih Moll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nordine Kaci Said scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kamel Zidane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Riverland AFC booed when Wake Forest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustapha Bougherra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chih Moll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kamel Zidane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nordine Kaci Said in the 96th minute of play forced Wake Forest's goalkeeper Kamel Zidane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Riverland AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wake Forest's performance. The match ended with a win for Wake Forest.
