If Rafik Zoheir Heddou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Feraoun kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Wilmer's Mehdi Djebar tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Lawton's goal looked a bit too open when Madhi Firoud came free, but Abd al-Aziz Bahari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noureddine Fillali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafik Zoheir Heddou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Wilmer. Mehdi Djebar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Abd al-Aziz Bahari. 0-1. Rachid Faudel's late challenge caught a Wilmer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rachid Faudel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wilmer's Hameur el Ibrahimi got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Rachid Faudel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 32nd minute Madhi Firoud suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. El Belaout charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed El Belaout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. El Belaout hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lawton's zone, Madjid Madani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abd al-Aziz Bahari came out of the goal and Madjid Madani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Houari Rahouli's late challenge caught a Wilmer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Houari Rahouli helped the player get up and apologised. Houari Rahouli hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Wilmer's Noureddine Fillali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Wilmer from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute of the match, Rachid Faudel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Noureddine Fillali was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Rafik Zoheir Heddou came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Lawton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafik Zoheir Heddou couldn't finish the play. Rachid Faudel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Noureddine Fillali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noureddine Fillali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Faudel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lawton's Rafik Zoheir Heddou got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abd al-Aziz Bahari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madjid Madani in the 81st minute of the match. Noureddine Fillali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Faudel in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Rachid Faudel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lawton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Faudel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Wilmer players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
