The supporters of Cheviot booed when South Gate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheb Zidane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheviot's Abdelmalek Bouziane came free and shot a quick shot against goal 18 minutes in the game, fortunately Mohamed Taha had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Abdelkader Matoub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim Boniche in the 24th minute of play forced South Gate's goalkeeper Mohamed Taha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Rachid El Ouafi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheviot and the South Gate players grew even worse after the yellow card.
