An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthar Louahla in the 34th minute of play forced Devils Lake AFC's goalkeeper Faouzi Metref to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hameur Madjer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moulay Djebar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Albertson's zone, Krim Chaib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hameur Madjer came out of the goal and Krim Chaib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Devils Lake AFC's Moulay Djebar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hameur Madjer narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
