After 63 played minutes Steger AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abderrahmane Saïdi-Sief. Lazhar Dahleb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lazhar Dahleb might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fadhil Madjer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lazhar Dahleb ran back to his position shaking his head. Wading River AFC's Nabil Abdi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelhamid Messaoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Lazhar Dahleb notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Steger AFC's Fadhil Madjer. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wading River AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
