Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salim Soltani started the match with the kick off. Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mequon's Nourredine Boulebda got a free kick in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chakib Ahmed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Cocoa's goalkeeper Fodil Abdi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camel Chedda. 20 minutes into the game, Cocoa's Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chakib Ahmed made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud in the 27th minute of play forced Mequon's goalkeeper Chakib Ahmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cocoa's supporters rose to their feet, but Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chakib Ahmed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute Hakim Bezzaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chakib Ahmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hakim Bezzaz's late challenge caught a Mequon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakim Bezzaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Cocoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakim Bezzaz to maneuver through the defense. Hakim Bezzaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hakim Bezzaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chakib Ahmed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Soltani in the 46th minute of play forced Cocoa's goalkeeper Fodil Abdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud made a kick off. Hakim Bezzaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nadir Makkeb's late challenge caught a Cocoa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nadir Makkeb helped the player get up and apologised. Safy Said shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Hakim Bezzaz struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Chakib Ahmed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocoa. Fodil Abdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camel Chedda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chakib Ahmed having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Mequon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakim Khelaifia to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes, Hakim Khelaifia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mequon and the Cocoa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cocoa booed when Mequon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakim Khelaifia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cocoa's Safy Said couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mequon. Hakim Bezzaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chakib Ahmed having to make a save. In the 88th minute, Mamaar Banouas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camel Chedda in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodil Abdi saved Cocoa from getting behind. In the 93rd match minute, Cocoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kassel el Ibrahimi to maneuver through the defense. Cocoa's Fodil Abdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camel Chedda in the 94th minute of play. Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Chakib Ahmed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocoa. The Mequon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cocoa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
