Rabah Chaouchi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Soltani Boniche showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. If Abderraouf Ahmed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute, Lounès Banouas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toufik Saci struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Khair ad-Din Haddadj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Water Valley FC. Nordine Adjaoud kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Nasreddine Hadjadj's late challenge caught a Hiland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nasreddine Hadjadj helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Water Valley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasreddine Hadjadj to maneuver through the defense. Rabah Chaouchi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abderraouf Ahmed in the 24th minute. Nasreddine Hadjadj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Hiland FC got a freekick which was hit by Khalida Boukensa. 28 minutes into the match, Water Valley FC's Toufik Saci broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Soltani Boniche sped through Water Valley FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rabah Chaouchi. 33 minutes into the match, Water Valley FC's goalkeeper Rabah Chaouchi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abderraouf Ahmed. Soltani Boniche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khair ad-Din Haddadj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hamruche, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Khair ad-Din Haddadj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hamruche went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Daho Mohand kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Nordine Adjaoud fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Water Valley FC's protests and gave Nordine Adjaoud a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Water Valley FC got a freekick which was hit by Nordine Adjaoud. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hamruche in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khair ad-Din Haddadj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the game, Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hamruche lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Khair ad-Din Haddadj. Nordine Adjaoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Hiland FC's Khair ad-Din Haddadj got control of the ball when Yazid Khalef tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Water Valley FC defense, Soltani Boniche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rabah Chaouchi. The Water Valley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rabah Chaouchi should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Water Valley FC's Mohammed Ahmed Ben Hamruche ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Khair ad-Din Haddadj. Khair ad-Din Haddadj yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. In the 84thth minute of the game Soltani Boniche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Water Valley FC's Rabah Chaouchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soltani Boniche in the 86th minute of play forced Water Valley FC's goalkeeper Rabah Chaouchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yazid Khalef got free with Khair ad-Din Haddadj in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abderraouf Ahmed struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rabah Chaouchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hiland FC. The Water Valley FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hiland FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
