The Kahuku AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmed Chedda should have stopped the shot. Ahmed Chedda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rabah Zaaboub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Reda Zouba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Chedda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rabah Zaaboub, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Camel Mérah-Benida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelaziz Zarabis short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute Rabah Zaaboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Chedda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Rabah Zaaboub had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmed Chedda. Kahuku AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rabah Zaaboub was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdelaziz Zarabi in the 41st minute. Ahmed Chedda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reda Zouba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yahia Kharroubi made a kick off. If Reda Zouba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reda Zouba in the 58th minute of play forced Kahuku AFC's goalkeeper Ahmed Chedda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yahia Kharroubi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Kahuku AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Cavalli. After having played for 76 minutes, Reda Zouba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dahlonega AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reda Zouba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmed Chedda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reda Zouba, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Kahuku AFC booed when Dahlonega AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soltani Brahimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelkader Megharia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief. Dahlonega AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Yahia Kharroubi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dahlonega AFC's Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Abdelaziz Zarabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Reda Zouba came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Dahlonega AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reda Zouba couldn't finish the play. Rabah Zaaboub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ahmed Chedda made a huge save. Dahlonega AFC played a much better game than Kahuku AFC and deserved their victory. The Kahuku AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
