Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kamel Dahar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kassel Medjiba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammed Drioueche, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Kamel Dahar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Karim Amsallem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Billel Benzine came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Virginia Gardens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billel Benzine couldn't finish the play. Rafik Meskine's late challenge caught a North Merrick FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafik Meskine helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Anther Bouzid sped through Virginia Gardens's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karim Amsallem. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Kassel Medjiba was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Medjadi Diss. Billel Benzine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kassel Medjiba having to interfere. Virginia Gardens's Mohammed Drioueche got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to North Merrick FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bendjedid Lemoui hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, North Merrick FC's Bendjedid Lemoui got a free kick in the 67th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Anther Bouzid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Merrick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anther Bouzid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohammed Drioueche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Virginia Gardens booed when North Merrick FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouloud Maillot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billel Benzine scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kassel Medjiba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mohammed Drioueche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of North Merrick FC booed when Virginia Gardens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Faudel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karim Amsallem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anther Bouzid went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
