In the 19thth minute of the game Karim Abdenouz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durant FC's Nouara Khelaifia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Jussef Ulansi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Durant FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ali Gourion hit a great ball. Mimoun Ouid Belmellat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noureddine Raho struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Nouara Khelaifia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sterling Heights. 43 minutes into the game, Jussef Ulansi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mimoun Ouid Belmellat. Jussef Ulansi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 48 minutes into the game, Durant FC's Kamel Matmour nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mimoun Ouid Belmellat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Noureddine Raho made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Rachid Baba Ali Mekhloufi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mohammed Laura Douibi fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sterling Heights's protests and gave Mohammed Laura Douibi a yellow card for diving instead. 73 minutes into the game, Ali Gourion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Durant FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sterling Heights the free kick. The audience held their breath when Nasser Said in the 99th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mimoun Ouid Belmellat's left hand side.
