Salim Kerkar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Mendiko's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Hicham Seghiri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drew's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apra Harbor the free kick. 16 minutes into the match, Drew's goalkeeper Mebarek N'Soumer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mouloud Zidane. If Matias Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Mohamed Ben Ahmed Khendu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mouloud Zidane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Mebarek N'Soumer made a huge save. Abdelmalek Djebbour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mebarek N'Soumer having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Matias Mendiko made a precise shot to the right of Salim Kerkar. Apra Harbor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Mebarek N'Soumer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mouloud Zidane in the 39th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salah Bridji scored 1-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mebarek N'Soumer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th match minute, Drew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hicham Seghiri to maneuver through the defense. Ali Ouadah was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Apra Harbor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Matias Mendiko scored to the left of an out of position Salim Kerkar, making the score, 1-4. The supporters of Drew booed when Apra Harbor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Bridji didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mebarek N'Soumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelmalek Djebbour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Drew supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Drew would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
