Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mohammed Lemoui got the match started through his kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Skidaway Island's Lakhdar Boufroura made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmed Malek was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Ahmed Bedjaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Owasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nourredine Morceli came free, but Ahmed Malek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Owasso FC were furious when Amar Boutella was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Owasso FC! When Skidaway Island's Lakhdar Boufroura in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ahmed Malek guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Nourredine Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Malek having to interfere. Lakhdar Boufroura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ahmed Malek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Nourredine Morceli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skidaway Island's supporters rose to their feet, but Nourredine Morceli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Malek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Karim Nasri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Owasso FC and the Skidaway Island players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Lakhdar Boufroura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skidaway Island's supporters rose to their feet, but Lakhdar Boufroura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Malek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Owasso FC booed when Skidaway Island was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouloud Heddou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nourredine Morceli made the kick off in the second half. When Mehdi Madjer fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skidaway Island's protests and gave Mehdi Madjer a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthar Sad in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abderaouf Mimoun saved Skidaway Island from getting behind. When Skidaway Island's Lakhdar Boufroura, in the 56th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Skidaway Island. Abdel Hamid Zaaf kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Owasso FC's Ahmed Malek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Owasso FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nourredine Morceli in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmed Malek saved Owasso FC from getting behind. Fadel Hamdani's late challenge caught a Owasso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fadel Hamdani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Skidaway Island was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadel Hamdani to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skidaway Island's goalkeeper Abderaouf Mimoun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lakhdar Boufroura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ahmed Malek made a huge save. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Owasso FC! Lakhdar Boufroura took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmed Malek. Ahmed Malek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 94th minute Anthar Sad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abderaouf Mimoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lakhdar Boufroura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Ahmed Malek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmed Malek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustapha Aarache in the 98th minute of play. Skidaway Island's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
