Follansbee FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sid Ahmed Touhami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Yazid Djebar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sid Ahmed Madani struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Rachid Boulebda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Follansbee FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sid Ahmed Touhami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Boulebda having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Abdelmalek Zidane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Follansbee FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Tokyo City the free kick. If Sid Ahmed Touhami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes FC Tokyo City got a freekick which was hit by Yazid Djebar. 93 minutes into the match, FC Tokyo City's Abdelnasser Fanon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tedj Abbas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdelnasser Fanon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Abbas having to interfere. Despite being the better team, FC Tokyo City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
