Abdelaziz Allalou's late challenge caught a Huber Ridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelaziz Allalou helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Follansbee FC! The referee gave Huber Ridge a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by El Haddou, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Follansbee FC's Tedj Abbas. 0-1. In the 11th minute Nasserredine Mansouri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tedj Abbas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sid Ahmed Madani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huber Ridge's Nasserredine Mansouri got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Huber Ridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Bouzid to maneuver through the defense. Tedj Abbas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamel Rimitti in the 29th minute of play. Follansbee FC's Tedj Abbas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamel Rimitti in the 32nd minute of play. If Kamel Rimitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Haddou kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Nasreddine Saïfi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Nasserredine Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kamel Rimitti to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Huber Ridge's Nasserredine Mansouri made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tedj Abbas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salim Lamine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Ahmed Touhami in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Huber Ridge's El Haddou seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed El Haddou the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Huber Ridge protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and El Haddou had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Follansbee FC a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nasreddine Saïfi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Huber Ridge's Salim Lamine. 1-2. If Nasserredine Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Sid Ahmed Madani made a precise shot to the right of Salim Lamine. Huber Ridge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Sid Ahmed Madani came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Follansbee FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Ahmed Madani couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Follansbee FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Djamal Abdelghani hit a great ball. Nasserredine Mansouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Abbas having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
