The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes De Pere FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismaël Bougherra. Assia Boumedienne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Abdellah Medjadi Bouchemla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mahmoud Aboulker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mimoun Meriem went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of De Pere FC booed when Ripon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abderraouf Harkouk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hocine Amara was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Abdellah Medjadi Bouchemla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Assia Boumedienne in the 22nd minute of play. Assia Boumedienne in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdellah Medjadi Bouchemla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mahmoud Aboulker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mimoun Meriem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45thth minute of the game Assia Boumedienne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ripon FC's Abdellah Medjadi Bouchemla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Assia Boumedienne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdellah Medjadi Bouchemla having to interfere. The De Pere FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ripon FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Mimoun Meriem made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to De Pere FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lounès Kraouche hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohammad Azem got free with Mahmoud Aboulker in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Camel Benhamou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdellah Medjadi Bouchemla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiane Amri in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Mohammad Azem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohammad Azem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmoud Aboulker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 played minutes De Pere FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdel Fahima. De Pere FC's Mahmoud Aboulker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save De Pere FC from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the game, De Pere FC's Sofiane Amri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdellah Medjadi Bouchemla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, De Pere FC's Sofiane Amri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdellah Medjadi Bouchemla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mimoun Meriem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mimoun Meriem in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahmoud Aboulker saved De Pere FC from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
