Khair ad-Din Ibrir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boudjemaa Drioueche having to interfere. Boudjemaa Drioueche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheb Saïd-Guerni went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rachid Baba Ali Saadane was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Sierra Vista's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Cheb Saïd-Guerni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camel Sennaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Baba Ali Saadane in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Sierra Vista's Ahmed Reda Saïdi-Sief nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camel Sennaoui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sierra Vista's Boudjemaa Drioueche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khair ad-Din Ibrir in the 45th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rachid Baba Ali Saadane made a kick off. Khair ad-Din Ibrir struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Boudjemaa Drioueche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slater. With a little luck, Sierra Vista's Boudjemaa Drioueche got control of the ball when Khair ad-Din Ibrir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sierra Vista's Boudjemaa Drioueche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Saïd-Guerni in the 58th minute of play. Ahmed Reda Saïdi-Sief fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camel Sennaoui having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Khair ad-Din Ibrir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Mohamed Rimitti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sierra Vista's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Rimitti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camel Sennaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Sierra Vista's Ahmed Reda Saïdi-Sief sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camel Sennaoui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sierra Vista fans cheered their team off the field, for while Slater had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
