The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Tedj Maillot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Facebook Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tedj Maillot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fawzi Zitouni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Said Bouziane scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Khalida Sadmi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute Samir Hima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fawzi Zitouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Hanin in the 23rd minute of play forced Facebook Football Club's goalkeeper Khalida Sadmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samir Hanin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalida Sadmi having to interfere. The supporters of Shafter AFC booed when Facebook Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samir Hanin made a kick off. Samir Hanin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Khalida Sadmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalida Sadmi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Hanin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tedj Maillot struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Fawzi Zitouni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Facebook Football Club. If Samir Hanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Facebook Football Club's Tedj Maillot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fawzi Zitouni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Said Bouziane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalida Sadmi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Shafter AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Facebook Football Club for a fine match.
