The long shot by Abderraouf Djahnine in the 10th minute really tested Karim Meskine's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Abdelhamid Ahmed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Augusta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelhamid Ahmed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC AKAR getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sid Ahmed Boniche hit a great ball. Jean-Michel Nabil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th match minute, FC AKAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adlène Cohen-Tannoudji to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Oussar in the 25th minute of play forced FC AKAR's goalkeeper Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC AKAR's Jean-Michel Nabil got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rabah Boudjedra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Karim Meskine skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind South Augusta's goalkeeper Karim Meskine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean-Michel Nabil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rabah Boudjedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Meskine having to interfere. After 40 played minutes South Augusta got a freekick which was hit by Mouloud Zarabi. 46 minutes into the match, South Augusta's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Michel Nabil came free, but Karim Meskine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelhamid Ahmed's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Mohamed Oussar made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Rabah Boudjedra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karim Meskine was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Michel Nabil in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karim Meskine saved South Augusta from getting behind. After having played for 63 minutes, Rabah Boudjedra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC AKAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rabah Boudjedra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelnacer Ouyahia during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC AKAR's Abdelnacer Ouyahia got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdelhamid Ahmed went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Oussar in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match Rafik Zoheir Yahia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karim Meskine skillfully saved the ball. After 85 played minutes FC AKAR got a freekick which was hit by Karim Benarbia. Mohamed Oussar might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Oussar ran back to his position shaking his head. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
