In the 34th match minute, Southgate AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamza Kourichi to maneuver through the defense. Hamid Mansouri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Highlands FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krim Hanin in the 43rd minute of play forced North Highlands FC's goalkeeper Ismael Bougherra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamid Mansouri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Megharia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Southgate AFC's Hamid Mansouri got control of the ball when Redha Fillali tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ismael Bougherra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faouzi Khalef in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ahmed Megharia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southgate AFC's Hamid Mansouri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Redha Fillali in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamid Mansouri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes, Hamza Kourichi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southgate AFC and the North Highlands FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamza Kourichi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. North Highlands FC's Ahmed Megharia got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Bougherra was a little too slow when Faouzi Khalef got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-1.
