If Faouzi Khalef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Ketchum got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Rimitti. Southgate AFC's Mebarek Kourichi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abd al-Asis Belloumi but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yacine Boufroura in the 21st minute of play forced Southgate AFC's goalkeeper Hamid Mansouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Rachid Brahami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamid Mansouri. Southgate AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rachid Brahami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 28thth minute of the game Abdellah Djaout who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ketchum's Abd al-Asis Belloumi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Khair ad-Din Bella hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Yacine Boufroura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ketchum's supporters rose to their feet, but Yacine Boufroura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamid Mansouri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krim Hanin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Asis Belloumi having to interfere. With a little luck, Ketchum's Abd al-Asis Belloumi got control of the ball when Krim Hanin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faouzi Khalef made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krim Hanin in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abd al-Asis Belloumi saved Ketchum from getting behind. Faouzi Khalef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Asis Belloumi having to interfere. Krim Hanin might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abd al-Asis Belloumi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krim Hanin ran back to his position shaking his head. Faouzi Khalef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamid Mansouri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yacine Boufroura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Yacine Boufroura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamid Mansouri, 2-2. Southgate AFC's Faouzi Khalef got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yacine Boufroura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hamid Mansouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Yacine Boufroura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamid Mansouri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krim Hanin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Asis Belloumi having to interfere. When Krim Hanin came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Southgate AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krim Hanin couldn't finish the play. If Krim Hanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamid Mansouri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rachid Brahami in the 89th minute. Faouzi Khalef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Madani kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match Mebarek Kourichi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abd al-Asis Belloumi skillfully saved the ball. Faouzi Khalef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Abd al-Asis Belloumi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
