The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Benton AFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Tedj Merbah hit a great ball. Rachid Belkheir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Cavalli having to interfere. With his leg Fodil Belloumi managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Benton AFC's Anther Madjer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rabah Cohen in the 12th minute of play forced Benton AFC's goalkeeper Mouloud Cavalli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rabah Cohen struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Mouloud Cavalli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paradise Hills AFC. In the 17th minute, Chadli Ulansi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mouloud Cavalli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Cohen in the 19th minute of the match. Paradise Hills AFC's Fodil Belloumi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faouzi Nima in the 22nd minute of play. Mouloud Cavalli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Belkheir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Anther Madjer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodil Belloumi. Paradise Hills AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anther Madjer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Anther Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustapha Ouyahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouloud Cavalli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rabah Cohen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rabah Cohen made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Anther Madjer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benton AFC and the Paradise Hills AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Paradise Hills AFC booed when Benton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anther Madjer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paradise Hills AFC's Mustapha Ouyahia suffered a sore knee after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tedj Merbah during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Benton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tedj Merbah to maneuver through the defense. Paradise Hills AFC's Rachid Belkheir got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the match Boudjemaa Mesbah shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodil Belloumi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Anther Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Paradise Hills AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Cohen. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rachid Belkheir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paradise Hills AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rachid Belkheir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mouloud Cavalli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 minutes, Assia Belkhadem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benton AFC and the Paradise Hills AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Benton AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Benton AFC. Boudjemaa Mesbah stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fodil Belloumi. 2-1. Faouzi Nima struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Fodil Belloumi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benton AFC. Paradise Hills AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
