Abdelmalek Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Morristown FC's zone, Abdelmalek Abbas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maïssa Camus came out of the goal and Abdelmalek Abbas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Ben Laref fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maïssa Camus having to interfere. A collision led to Morristown FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cheb Bridji hit a great ball. With his leg Maïssa Camus managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Lugoff FC's Noureddine Sadaoui fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maïssa Camus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noureddine Sadaoui went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samir Zouba in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abd al-Asis Amara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Noureddine Sadaoui came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lugoff FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noureddine Sadaoui couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Abdelmalek Abbas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Noureddine Sadaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugoff FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Sadaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maïssa Camus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Morristown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelmalek Abbas came free, but Maïssa Camus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Morristown FC's Samir Zouba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abd al-Asis Amara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lugoff FC's Abdelmalek Abbas got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abd al-Asis Cherrad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abd al-Asis Amara having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Zouba in the 77th minute of play forced Lugoff FC's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Amara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Sadaoui in the 83rd minute of play forced Morristown FC's goalkeeper Maïssa Camus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abd al-Asis Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Asis Amara having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Lugoff FC's Abdelmalek Abbas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maïssa Camus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Morristown FC got a freekick which was hit by Khalida Sadmi. In the 99th minute, Morristown FC's Mouloud Hamrouche seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mouloud Hamrouche the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Morristown FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mouloud Hamrouche had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 98th minute, one of Morristown FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Morristown FC.
