In the 2nd minute Mouloud Louahla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abd al-Asis Amara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Souad Amara charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Souad Amara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Lugoff FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Souad Amara to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Ben Laref during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Marcelitos booed when Lugoff FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Ben Laref didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Liamine Ahmed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mouloud Medaci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Sadaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Lugoff FC's Noureddine Sadaoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mouloud Medaci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Los Marcelitos's goal looked a bit too open when Noureddine Sadaoui came free, but Mouloud Medaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Mouloud Louahla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abd al-Asis Amara. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mouloud Louahla in the 32nd minute of play forced Lugoff FC's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Amara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mouloud Medaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelmalek Abbas in the 37th minute of play. The Lugoff FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Lugoff FC's Abdelmalek Abbas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 44th minute Abdelmalek Abbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouloud Medaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mouloud Louahla was the one to do the kick off. Abdelmalek Abbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Medaci having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Los Marcelitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camel Ammour to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Mohamed Ben Laref managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugoff FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Ben Laref was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mouloud Medaci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelmalek Abbas in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mouloud Medaci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camel Ammour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouloud Medaci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmalek Abbas in the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noureddine Sadaoui got free with Mouloud Medaci in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
