The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Assia Nima sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mouloud Medaci skillfully saved the ball. Samir Zouba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Morristown FC's Mouloud Medaci threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samir Zouba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Maïssa Camus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouloud Louahla in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Mokdad Bridji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Los Marcelitos's Mustapha Madani tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Abd al-Asis Cherrad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mouloud Medaci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Morristown FC's Abd al-Asis Cherrad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mouloud Medaci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 37th minute, Krim Mami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camel Ammour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abd al-Asis Cherrad in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mouloud Medaci, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abd al-Asis Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Medaci having to interfere. When Liamine Ahmed fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Marcelitos's protests and gave Liamine Ahmed a yellow card for diving instead. Liamine Ahmed hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Morristown FC's Samir Zouba got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Kamel Barbarossa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Marcelitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morristown FC the free kick. Kamel Barbarossa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samir Zouba was the one to do the kick off. When Los Marcelitos's Mouloud Louahla in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
