Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Rachid Madjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yazid Prévost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yazid Chedda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Noureddine Amirouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Progreso's goalkeeper Yazid Prévost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Mohand. 13 minutes into the match, Mecca's goal looked a bit too open when Yazid Chedda came free, but Noureddine Amirouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Mecca got a freekick which was hit by Abd el Fergani. Noureddine Amirouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafik Hamdani in the 24th minute of play. A hard shot 29 in the game by Mohamed Abbas from a close distance when the talented Yazid Prévost managed to make a qualified save. Progreso's players were relieved. Yazid Prévost was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Mohand showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Mohamed Abbas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Progreso got a freekick which was hit by François Zaoui. Ali Mohand struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Yazid Prévost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mecca. Yazid Prévost made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ali Mohand sent off a good shot on target. When René Lamine fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Progreso's protests and gave René Lamine a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Progreso getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. René Lamine hit a great ball. Ali Mohand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rachid Madjer made a kick off. Yazid Prévost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Madjer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Noureddine Amirouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Hamdani in the 62nd minute of the match. Rachid Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Prévost having to interfere. Mouloud Bourebbou hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Smail Sam. If Ali Mohand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noureddine Amirouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafik Hamdani in the 79th minute of play. Yazid Chedda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Mecca's Rachid Madjer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yazid Prévost made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Rachid Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Prévost having to interfere.
