The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kasdi Meniri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Fateh Akrour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fateh Akrour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasdi Meniri in the 5th minute of the match. Fateh Akrour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Smail Zarabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 12 played minutes Agoura Hills AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelaziz Djamel. Agoura Hills AFC's Smail Zarabi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West FC's Djamel Saïd-Guerni got a free kick in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Smail Zarabi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fateh Akrour. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Baba Ali Chaib in the 24th minute of play forced Agoura Hills AFC's goalkeeper Kateb Hemdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, one of Agoura Hills AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Agoura Hills AFC. The goalkeeper, Kateb Hemdani, was totally fooled by Cascade Park West FC's Hamid Kouri, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Agoura Hills AFC's Kateb Hemdani got control of the ball when Yazid Ben Khalidi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cascade Park West FC booed when Agoura Hills AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Djamel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasdi Meniri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fateh Akrour having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, Agoura Hills AFC's Smail Zarabi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fateh Akrour was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fateh Akrour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasdi Meniri in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Smail Zarabi made a kick off. Agoura Hills AFC's Kateb Hemdani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Baba Ali Chaib in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Rachid Baba Ali Chaib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kateb Hemdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fateh Akrour stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Smail Zarabi's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Agoura Hills AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Djamel Saïd-Guerni came free, but Kateb Hemdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yazid Ben Khalidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kateb Hemdani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yazid Ben Khalidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasdi Meniri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fateh Akrour having to interfere. Cascade Park West FC's Fateh Akrour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Zarabi in the 86th minute of play. Kateb Hemdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazid Ben Khalidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Rachid Baba Ali Chaib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Agoura Hills AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Agoura Hills AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
