Abdellah Baroudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Djabir Yahia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yazid Gourion in the 24th minute. Yazid Gourion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Mohamed Kharroubi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aspen's Djabir Yahia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yazid Gourion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djabir Yahia having to interfere. If Mohamed Kharroubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Abdellah Baroudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Aspen's Djabir Yahia got control of the ball when Yazid Gourion tried to sneak it across the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Lago reached it. Abdellah Baroudi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Aspen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Abdelhamid Temmam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Djabir Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to El Lago getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mohamed Kharroubi hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aspen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Lago.
