Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Richton FC's Mohamed Bentifour started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mohamed Bentifour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fadel Bougherra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Lounès Boumedienne's late challenge caught a Richton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lounès Boumedienne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute Tedj Bencheikh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelnacer Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. North Chicago's Knodi Feraoun got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Richton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Boniche to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Knodi Feraoun managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Knodi Feraoun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelnacer Khaled breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fadel Bougherra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Bentifour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Mohammad Kaci Djamel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Chicago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Richton FC the free kick. In the 21st match minute, North Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammad Kaci Djamel to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knodi Feraoun in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdelnacer Khaled saved Richton FC from getting behind. Mustapha Yahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Lamine's late challenge caught a Richton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Lamine helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, North Chicago's Mohamed Lamine got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute Richton FC were awarded a corner. Cheb Kermali went to the cornerflag to take it. Mohamed Bentifour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fadel Bougherra having to interfere. In the 48th of the match, Mohamed Bentifour tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Fadel Bougherra got in the way and made a wonderful save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tedj Bencheikh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Knodi Feraoun in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdelnacer Khaled, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Knodi Feraoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelnacer Khaled having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Tedj Bencheikh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, North Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Mustapha Yahia came free, but Fadel Bougherra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Lounès Boumedienne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Richton FC's Cheb Kermali tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Lounès Boumedienne was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. The Richton FC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Richton FC's Mohamed Bentifour looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 83 minutes into the match, Richton FC's Mustapha Yahia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fadel Bougherra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Richton FC's Mustapha Yahia in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Chicago's goalie prevented a goal. Ahmed Boniche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mohamed Bentifour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knodi Feraoun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Abdelnacer Khaled made a huge save.
