After 22 minutes of play, Richton FC's Mohamed Bentifour made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hameur Hasni to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustapha Yahia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Mohamed Zafour made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Hameur Hasni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelnacer Khaled was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Mohamed Bentifour dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mohamed Zafour, 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Mustapha Yahia could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Mohamed Zafour however easily saved by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, August's goalkeeper Mohamed Zafour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustapha Yahia. Richton FC's Abdelnacer Khaled played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hameur Hasni in the 81st minute of play. In the 95th minute Rainer Ørbæk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelnacer Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelnacer Khaled showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hameur Hasni in the 96th minute of the match. Richton FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
