Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tedj Bencheikh started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tedj Bencheikh during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tedj Bencheikh kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, North Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knodi Feraoun to maneuver through the defense. Lounès Boumedienne charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lounès Boumedienne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes North Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Lounès Boumedienne. After a defensive mix-up in North Chicago's zone, Hameur Hasni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fadel Bougherra came out of the goal and Hameur Hasni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fadel Bougherra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hameur Hasni, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Hameur Hasni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fadel Bougherra. North Chicago's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Karim Djahnine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fadel Bougherra having to interfere. Mohamed Zafour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tedj Bencheikh in the 29th minute of play. Mohamed Zafour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tedj Bencheikh in the 30th minute of the match. Mohamed Zafour made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Knodi Feraoun sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, August's goalkeeper Mohamed Zafour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Knodi Feraoun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Knodi Feraoun got free with Mohamed Zafour in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Hameur Hasni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fadel Bougherra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Hameur Hasni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rainer Ørbæk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fadel Bougherra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Mohammad Kaci Djamel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Chicago and the August players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohammad Kaci Djamel kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hameur Hasni to strike the kick off in the second half. The August fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when August's Hameur Hasni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 62 minutes into the match, Hameur Hasni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fadel Bougherra. North Chicago's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hameur Hasni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Rainer Ørbæks short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Fadel Bougherra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute Knodi Feraoun suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 78 minutes into the game, one of August:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mohamed Zafour went to the wrong direction when Abdelmalek Merah-Benida was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Chicago's goalkeeper Fadel Bougherra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, North Chicago's Fadel Bougherra got control of the ball when Rainer Ørbæk tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainer Ørbæk in the 96th minute of play forced North Chicago's goalkeeper Fadel Bougherra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 97 in the game by Hameur Hasni from a close distance when the talented Fadel Bougherra managed to make a qualified save. North Chicago's players were relieved. August's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
