With an all-out effort, Piggott's Hocine Douibi threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kamel Allalou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Antoine Kouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthar Massi in the 13th minute of play forced Piggott's goalkeeper Amar Abdessalam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piggott's Amar Abdessalam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthar Massi in the 17th minute of play. When Djabir Benbitour fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piggott's protests and gave Djabir Benbitour a yellow card for diving instead. Djabir Benbitour hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Antoine Kouri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amar Abdessalam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Kouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anthar Massi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chakib Mamouni hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Amar Abdessalam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthar Massi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Anthar Massi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antoine Kouri in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amar Abdessalam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Antoine Kouri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Piggott's Amar Abdessalam. Amar Abdessalam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kamel Allalou to strike the kick off in the second half. Hocine Ziani, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hocine Douibi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Sahraoui in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Cave Creek's Antoine Kouri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amar Abdessalam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Piggott's zone, Antoine Kouri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amar Abdessalam came out of the goal and Antoine Kouri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cave Creek's Antoine Kouri got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amar Abdessalam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthar Massi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Piggott's Amar Abdessalam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthar Massi in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Chakib Mamouni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hocine Douibi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ahmed Sahraoui came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Piggott fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Sahraoui couldn't finish the play. In the 84th match minute, Piggott was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djabir Benbitour to maneuver through the defense. Amar Abdessalam acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ferhat Oussalah. Amar Abdessalam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthar Massi in the 88th minute of play. Cave Creek's Hocine Douibi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Sahraoui in the 90th minute of play. Piggott were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cave Creek for a fine match.
