Hocine Chedda's late challenge caught a Broomfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hocine Chedda helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, McSherrystown AFC's Hocine Chedda got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Charles Zahouania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hocine Hanister in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in McSherrystown AFC's zone, Rabah Mazzid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Zahouania came out of the goal and Rabah Mazzid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rabah Mazzid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Hocine Hanister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Zahouania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Abdelaziz Hamruche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Broomfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave McSherrystown AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Broomfield's Abdelaziz Hamruche got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Mouloud Cixous shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Hadj Aïssa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Moulay Harkouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. McSherrystown AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moulay Harkouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansour Hadj Aïssa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mouloud Cixous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouloud Cixous hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Abdel Karim Sifi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Broomfield booed when McSherrystown AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moulay Harkouk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moulay Harkouk charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moulay Harkouk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 39 minutes, Hocine Hanister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broomfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hocine Hanister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hocine Hanister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Charles Zahouania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to McSherrystown AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Medjadi Kafi hit a great ball. Hocine Hanister struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Charles Zahouania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broomfield. After 45 played minutes McSherrystown AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdel Karim Sifi. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Hocine Hanister made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Ferhat Bruel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Moulay Harkouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hocine Hanister let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 66th minute shot 0-2 at rihgt post. After a rather tough play, Broomfield's Chadli Mansouri got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moulay Harkouk in the 75th minute of play forced Broomfield's goalkeeper Mansour Hadj Aïssa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in McSherrystown AFC's zone, Hocine Hanister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The shot was stopped by Charles Zahouania but with some difficulty. Hocine Hanister hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Moulay Harkouk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Youssef Larbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Zahouania having to interfere. If Mahmoud Amrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rabah Mazzid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Charles Zahouania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mouloud Cixous kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. McSherrystown AFC's Charles Zahouania proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save McSherrystown AFC from getting a goal against them. Broomfield played a much better game than McSherrystown AFC and deserved their victory. The McSherrystown AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
