An unexpectedly hard shot by Rabah Mazzid in the 6th minute of play forced Hyattsville AFC's goalkeeper Hocine Larfaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abdelmalek Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Youssef Larbes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Rabah Mazzid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Larfaoui having to interfere. Mansour Hadj Aïssa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nordine Yahia in the 17th minute of the match. Abdelmalek Madjer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. The corner was taken by Ferhat Bruel in the 45th minute. Ferhat Bruel made a great header on Broomfield's corner, it was just that Hyattsville AFC's Hocine Larfaoui managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Broomfield defense, Nordine Yahia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mansour Hadj Aïssa. The Broomfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mansour Hadj Aïssa should have stopped the shot. After the first half Hyattsville AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nordine Yahia in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mansour Hadj Aïssa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hyattsville AFC's Hocine Larfaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hocine Hanister in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Hyattsville AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Chakib Fadhil Mohamed hit a great ball. Hocine Hanister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Larfaoui having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Broomfield's zone, Nordine Yahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mansour Hadj Aïssa came out of the goal and Nordine Yahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes Broomfield got a freekick which was hit by Chadli Mansouri. After having played for 76 minutes, Fathi Madouni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyattsville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fathi Madouni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Broomfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abderraouf Kouidri to maneuver through the defense. Hocine Larfaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hocine Hanister in the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hocine Hanister in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hocine Larfaoui saved Hyattsville AFC from getting behind. Broomfield's Mansour Hadj Aïssa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmalek Madjer in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Abdelmalek Madjer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyattsville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelmalek Madjer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansour Hadj Aïssa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nordine Yahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
