Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abdelmalek Boufroura made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Kader Chebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Destrehan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westbury the free kick. After 2 played minutes Destrehan FC got a freekick which was hit by Kader Chebal. Westbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Nassim Benzine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nassim Benzine came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief could save by the left post. In the 12th minute, Nassim Benzine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Abdelnacer Aït Salem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fadhil Temmam kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Abdelnacer Aït Salem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Morceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Jean-Baptiste Ben Khalidi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hocine Morceli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Westbury's Nassim Benzine got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Nassim Benzine sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Destrehan FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mounir Moussa hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelkader Mohamed during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean-Baptiste Ben Khalidi to strike the kick off in the second half. Hocine Morceli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abdelnacer Aït Salem showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. Nassim Benzine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief having to make a save. Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nassim Benzine in the 76th minute of the match. Nassim Benzine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Abdelmalek Boufroura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief. Destrehan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelmalek Boufroura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelmalek Boufroura in the 83rd minute of play. Jean-Baptiste Ben Khalidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hocine Morceli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nassim Benzine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelmalek Boufroura in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Westbury booed when Destrehan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadhil Temmam didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Destrehan FC's zone, Abdelmalek Boufroura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Baba Ali Saïdi-Sief came out of the goal and Abdelmalek Boufroura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Westbury had won after a very even match.
