The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Souad Boulmerka fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lubbock AFC's protests and gave Souad Boulmerka a yellow card for diving instead. Souad Boulmerka kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match.
